Joseph Kirkpatrick
President, Lead Analyst
Joseph Kirkpatrick joined PCS in 2014 after ten years in staff and supervisory positions in public accounting and government.
Since joining PCS, Mr. Kirkpatrick has performed and managed numerous joint venture reviews of both onshore and offshore projects for many clients, both public and private. A few representative engagements include drilling, completions, and workovers; major construction of platforms, production facilities, pipelines, and subsea tiebacks; reviews of accounting for jointly-owned and third party production facilities and associated production handling agreements.
Mr. Kirkpatrick served as an Analyst, Project Manager, and Vice President before his promotion to President in January 2023.
Mr. Kirkpatrick graduated with a BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown. He is a member of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston (PASH) and the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS).
Steven Grillo
Vice President, Lead Analyst
Steven Grillo joined PCS in 2018. During the previous four years, he worked for a major offshore drilling contractor, gaining hands-on training in drilling and workover operations, as well as other capital projects and lease operations.
Since joining PCS, Mr. Grillo has performed and managed numerious reviews of costs and revenues for onshore and offshore properties, including Gulf of Mexico wells and facilities, gas plants and shale wells. Due to his previous professional experience offshore, Mr. Grillo is particularly familiar with offshore drilling technology, practices and procedures.
Mr. Grillo served as an Analyst and Project Manager before his promotion to Vice President in 2022.
Mr. Grillo graduated with a BS degree in Management and a minor in Business from Texas A&M University in College Station. He is a member of PASH and COPAS.
Brandon Setliff
Joint Venture Analyst
Brandon Setliff joined the firm as an analyst in January 2023 after interning with PCS during the summer of his last college year. During college, Mr. Setliff played baseball and coached youth select-league teams. He remains active in youth sports as a pitching coach.
Mr. Setliff graduated with a BBA degree from Houston Baptist University (Now Houston Christian University). He is a member of PASH and COPAS.
Lisa Proft Harper
Office Administrator/Assistant Analyst
Lisa Harper joined PCS in 2014 after a thirty-one year career with a major telecommunications company. During her prior career, Ms. Harper was employed in administrative and finance positions in various departments, including Accounting and Marketing. Ms. Harper has assisted in reviews of both onshore and offshore projects.
Ms. Harper has two Associate degrees in Applied Science from Lamar University Port Arthur.
Contract Consultants
In addition to our qualified staff, PCS utilizes highly experienced contract consultants on a project by project basis. These consultants are carefully selected by PCS for their combination of educational and professional experience, and related credentials and certifications. Most bring more than twenty years of corporate and consulting experience in the industry to our projects. Additionally, some have served in industry leadership roles, including COPAS and PASH.
